Semeyone Booker was born on November 23, 1975 in Chicago Illinois, and was the youngest of four children given to the union of Robert D. Booker and Ernestine Hoover. He was affectionately known as Seme, or Sem, or just Semeyone. Semeyone received Christ at an early age and was the first of his siblings to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Morgan Park. Semeyone attended Melody School on the westside of Chicago, and Garfield Elementary in Maywood Illinois. He later attended Jane Addams Elementary school where he graduated. Semeyone attended Proviso East High School. Semeyone loved to wrestle and joined the Proviso East wrestling team. He was known for taking the biggest guys down. Semeyone received his certificate in small engines. Later Semeyone worked for numerous jobs, and also became a care taker at a nursing facility in Brookfield Illinois. Semeyone Booker became a father to a beautiful baby girl named Mikayla Berger. He also stepped into the life of Isaiah Berger as a great father and friend. Semeyone was a one of a kind type of guy. He would do anything for you, I mean anything. He was everywhere and anywhere he could be to see about his family and friends. He was a genuine friend to many people. If he had it to give he would give it, even to the point of suffering lack himself because that’s the kind of person he was. His door was always open to give a helping hand. Semeyone suddenly departed this life into the everlasting arms of the Lord Jesus Christ on May 17, 2012. Semeyone was preceded in death by his loving father Robert D. Booker. Semeyone leaves to cherish his memories, two children: Mikayla Berger, Isaiah Berger (Amanda). His loving mother Ernestine Booker, two brothers Erskin (Nancy), Anthony D. Booker, and one sister, Sophia L. Booker; and a host of relatives and very close friends.
