Adolphus L. Lucas, Jr. departed this life on July 3rd, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love to cherish his memories: two daughters Kerry Lucas-Adkison of Nashville, Tennessee, Ieshia (Jason) Curtis; one grandson, Leon DeVon Curtis of Chicago, Illinois, his brother; Gregory DeVal (Joanne) Lucas of Bellwood, Illinois, one sister; Antionette (Willie) Sanders of Maywood, Illinois, one uncle; Victor Jones, Sr., of South Bend, Indiana; two aunts: Josephine Witherspoon of Mishawaka, Indiana, and Regina (Lloyd) Hardman of Chicago, Illinois and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13 from 10:00 am until time of service 11:00 am at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads, Hillside.
