Clematine Leornard was the epitome of a daughter, sister, mother wife, grandmother, great-grandmother & a friend to many.

December 20 ^th , 1927Clematine Posey graced us with her beautiful contagious presence. She was the 1 ^st born child to Judge Valoice & Celestia Posey, she was the eldest of 6 children.

Clematine received her education at Hopewell High School in Collins, Mississippi.

She accepted Christ at an early age, while attending Shady Oak Baptist Church in Collins, MS.

Clematine met her 1 ^st husband Arthur King Herns Sr., 1947 in Mississippi. They moved to Chicago, IL in 1953.

On Sunday, November 27 ^th , 2022,Clematine was called the Lord had roll call, and Clematine answered.

Clematine Leonard was preceded in death by her parents Judge Valoice & Celestia Posey, her brother Sandy Posey, her sister Ernestine

Brown, two husbands, Arthur Herns & Jack Leonard, 2 sons, Douglas Herns & Aubrey Herns &  2 grandsons, Johnny Aaron Herns &

Christopher.
