Daniel Owensby was the last born to Lois R Owensby and Sr Robert Owensby, he also had three siblings Robert Jr. Owensby, Anthony Owensby and Iunice Owensby.

Daniel lived in Chicago all his life, he worked at Verson industrial plant and as a custodian at CPS. He was a valued employee and a hard worker.

He was a loving and caring husband to his wife and a wonderful father to his children. Dan had many hobbies like comic books, space, and nature. He loved all his family dearly and gave all he had to make sure we had a good life and to stay strong together as a family.

He is survived by his wife Thelma Owensby, his two sons Nathan Owensby and David Owensby, his daughter Lois E. Owensby, his sister Iunice and nephew Rodell Zone.
