Obituary

It is with great sadness that the Hildebrand family announces the sudden passing of Debbie Hildebrand on April 4, 2023 at the age of 64.

She will be greatly missed by her son Mike (Kristen), her adored grandchildren Bennett and Kennzie, her furry companion/sidekick Charley, her brother Ed (Sue), Mark (Paul), Scott (Maggie), and her sisters Nan (Jeff), Laura (Dan), Cindy (Joe), and Patty (Darrel), many nieces/great nieces, nephews/ great nephews, and close friends.

She joins her parents, Harry "Bud" and Annamarie Hildebrand in their heavenly home.

She was a lifelong resident of Westchester. She was the co-owner of Hildebrand Sporting Goods in Broadview, where she was proud to carry on the legacy that her dad built. She was an extremely talented seamstress, known for her creativity and quality work.

She was generous with her time and her kind words, always there with a helping hand and a listening ear. Her family and friends will miss her contagious laugh and her sweet soul. Bennett and Kennzie were her pride and joy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family which is setting up a trust for her grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcomed to attend her visitation on Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and funeral service Friday at 12 noon at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads, Hillside. Interment Glen Oak Cemetery.
