Donna (Ondris) Hayes, a cherished wife, sister, aunt and great aunt, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on December 21, 1954 in Elmhurst, IL. and lived most of her life in Hillside, IL. She was the wife of the late Jack Hayes and the beloved daughter of the late Charles & Flemmie (Villano) Ondris. Sister of the late Marianne Ondris. She is survived by her sister Lori (Bob) Liss. Loving aunt to Dana (James) Patton, Steve (Samantha) Larkin, Jimmy Larkin, Mike (Sarah) Liss, Anthony Liss, Great Aunt to Emersyn & Henry Larkin, Grayson, Harper, Kailey & Jonathan Liss. All of whom will deeply miss her presence in their lives.

Donna & Jack were married for 20 years before his passing. They had a beautiful life together. Donna dedicated over 35 years of her career to the banking industry, starting as a teller at 18 years old in Elmhurst, IL. and working her way up to being the Trust and Estate Manager in Geneva, IL. She then quit her job to help take care of her mother and sister and then took a part time job as a Deli Associate at Jewel Grocery Store. She ended up working there until the day before her major heart attack. She then remained in a facility for a year and a half before passing, but she always remained hopeful that she would recover.

Donna will be remembered for her caring and giving ways, her love of family and friends, and her adventurous spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025 from 11:00 am until time of service 12:00 pm - until 1:00 p.m. at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads, Hillside.
