Donna Marie Shelby Haywood was Born to Earl E. and Donnie L. Shelby, August 30, 1960, in the Chicago's Lawndale community.

During her life journey, she attended high school at Holy Family and received her certificate of completion from Robert Morris College, both located in Chicago.

Donna was employed for many years at Allied World-Wide Company as an Administrative Assistant. Before then, she worked at Marsh McLennon Insurance agency, Unisource Systems Software Company, but most of her years were spent at Harris Trust and savings bank. All were in downtown Chicago.

Donna met her husband Terry in 1982. After four years of courtship, they were married June 14, 1986, at Blessed Sacrament Church, located on Cermak and Central Park, in the Lawndale community.

In 1991 Donna and Terry moved to Bellwood, Il. where they lived 34 years until her final day on November 28th at 8:58 pm when God called her home after a long battle with several illnesses. Donna fought to the end which was 13 years to the day she first fell ill in 2012. The day after Thanksgiving.

Donna enjoyed bowling, cards, puzzles and watching sports, crime shows, judge shows and cooking shows. She was always winning trophies, money, or fame for her outstanding bowling skills. On August 4, 2001, just a month before the 911 disaster, she bowled a perfect 300 game. She also enjoyed music, dancing, and having fun and was always positive, loving, and caring.

Donna transitioned to eternity Friday, November 28, 2025. Preceding Donna in eternity Father Earl, Mother Donnie and Brother Michael.

Donna is survived by her Husband: Terry, Sr.; Sons: Terry, Jr.; Joshua Bolton; Daughter-in-law: Alicia (Terry, Jr.) Kimberly (Joshua); Grandchildren: Jazlyn, Madisen, Ezra, Moriah; Brother-in-law: Darryl; Sister-in-law: Pamela; Aunt: Doris Bridget (Haywood), Nephews: Otis, Kevin, Jordan and a host of Special friends, friends, and loved ones….
