Dorothy M. Bennett nee Martin

beloved "hon" of the late Dwight. Loving mother of Debra (Don), the late Dwight F. and David, and Diana. Beloved grandmother of 8, especially Jim, Martha, Dwight, Marjorie, and the late Mary. Great-grandmother and Great-great-grandmother of many, including Mary Grace, Bradley, Brayden, Joseph, Theodore, and Tallulah. Fond Aunt of the late Robert Massey, and the Jackie and Lee Orenstein family. Friend of many at Martin Avenue Apartments in Naperville.

Dorothy was a dedicated employee of the Archdiocese of Chicago for over 30 years. She was dedicated to the family of Sacred Heart in Melrose Park for over 23 years.

She was strongly dedicated to her brothers and sisters; Florence, David, Margie, Mike, Betty, and their significant others, as well as many, many cousins throughout her life.

She showed all of those that were close to her how to be resilient, strong, and steadfast. She was stubborn but gentle. She loved flowers, everything pink, and relished all 99 and a half years she lived.

We will all miss her very much.
