Eleanor Hodge passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025, surrounded by her family just 2 months shy of her 100th birthday. Affectionately known as "Meggy" to many, Eleanor was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, great grandmother, friend, aunt, and doggie grandma. She was always smiling, telling stories, and laughing. She loved spending time with her family (especially her great grandkids), enjoying a cocktail, going to the riverboat, and cooking a wonderful meal.

Meggy loved her family beyond measure and was an especially proud great grandmother. She spent most of her life working, most notably at Stella D'Oro and later Fannie May.

Meggy is survived by her children Laurene (late Otto) Schneider, Melanie (Robert) Schubert; her grandchildren Lauren (Derek Duszak) Schneider, Alexandra (Anthony) Colasuono, Nina (Ryan) Wible, Kara (Michael Farrell) Schubert, and Jamie Schubert; and her great grandchildren Eleanor, Cameron, and Beckett Wible and Luca Colasuono.

She will be having a private funeral mass and internment.
