Florence Bernice Hill (nee Coquillette) of Keego Harbor, Michigan, formerly of Longmont, Colorado, Greensville, Michigan, Cadillac, Michigan, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Chicago, Illinois. Florence was born in Chicago to Francis and Bernice (nee Jawokski) Coquillette. Preceded in death by her parents and sister Sue Bridgeman (nee Coquillette). Survived by her son Richard Hill and her sister Jean McKee (nee Coquillette) and brother David Coquillette.

She was employed by Sears Roebuck from teen years until retirement, first as a secretary to a vice president in Chicago. She retired as the store manager in Greenville Michigan.

Florence was very interested in the genealogy of the Coquillette family. She was very outgoing and friendly. Friends and family from all places she lived agreed that she was very sweet and caring. She was very proud of serving as a County Commissioner of Wexford (Cadillac) County, Michigan. A surprising talent she had was playing pool. Her true joy was spending time with her family.

Visitation Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, 4001 W Roosevelt Road, (SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads) Hillside/Westchester. Interment at the family plot in Glen Oak Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
