June 1, 1931 - September 15, 2024

Beloved daughter of the late Jan Szkwarek and Angela Kosior Pikul; adopted daughter of the late Stanislaw Pikul, passed on September 15, 2024 at the age of 93. She is survived by three daughters Janina Marie (Curtiss Vaughan Neely) Skorus-Neely, Angela Lydia Skorus & Renee Antonia {nee Skorus} (Mo) Ismail; cherished grandmother to granddaughter Alexandra Christine Skorus-Neely and grandsonTyler Orion Ismail; .

Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Frances immigrated to Chicago in 1956, where she worked as a Comptometer operator and met Zdzislaw Stanislaw Skorus. They married July 5, 1958, living on the southside of Chicago until moving to Broadview in July of 1963. As a long time resident of Broadview, she was quietly involved in the community as Girl Scouts leader, patron of the public library and a parishioner at St Eulalia Church.

Visitation Thursday 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads, Hillside/Westchester.
