Frank D. Haxel, of Berwyn, devoted husband of the late Loretta Haxel, nee Biaggio; cherished  father of Jean (Richard) Swantish, Joan (Archie) Pellillo and Jayne (Randy) Stabenow; proud grandfather of six; loving great-grandfather of seven; dear brother of  the late Jeanette, Dorothy Mae, Irene, Ken & Frankie; fond uncle of many.

Frank loved spending time in nature, hiking and camping all over the United States and the world. He traveled to Israel and walked toward Jesus walked and was baptized in the Jordan River.

He was a lifetime member of The Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #424 of Berwyn and retired employee of Zenith with over 40 years of service.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 22nd 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Rds, Hillside/Westchester.
