Gregeory Daniel Brooks, Jr. was born the youngest of three siblings to Gregeory Sr. and Rosalyn Brooks.  He attended elementary, high school, and technical school at Lindop Elementary, Proviso East, and Lincoln Technical Institute.

Gregeory was everybody's mechanic.  He started fixing cars around age 12 and seeing him in the driveway or under the hood of a car was almost a daily occurrence.  This brought him joy and he was pleased to do it to help others.  He was always willing to help his Dad out underneath a car.  That helpful and entrepreneurial spirit had him, even as a young boy, always busy working to make a dollar.  He cut grass, trimmed hedges, and shoveled snow. Gregeory also worked as a mechanic for Windward Roofing Company for many years.

As a youth, Gregeory was always top of his class, often found on the Dean's list. School came easy to him. At an early age Greg was baptized at Rock of Ages Baptist Church. He was always very active playing many sports: often year round.  As an adult he was an avid sports fan.  His favorite sport being basketball and favorite team being the Bulls.  He was a true FAN –win or lose.

Whether you knew him as 'Little Greg' or 'G Thang' or 'Slim', to know him was to know an all-around good guy.  He was always willing to help you move, fix your ride, or just hang and chill. He will be greatly missed.

Gregeory was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalyn Brooks. He leaves to cherish his memory; his significant other Shaquanna, and their son, Branden; his father, Gregeory Sr.; two brothers, Artego, and Phillip, grandmother Carritha, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
