Guadalupe Amador -born in Tacátzcuaro, Michoacán, Mexico to Jose Mejia Aguilar and Hermina Mejia Garcia -- passed away peacefully on December 4th, 2020 in Berwyn, Illinois.

She will be forever remembered as the cherished wife of Amando; adoring mother of Adrian, Andres (Leonorilda), Araceli (Javier), & Amando; doting grandmother of Bianca, Monica, Adriana, and Lianna; loving great-grandmother of Memphis Andres; fond sister of Carmela, Eva, and Martha, and dear friend to many.

Always with a joke, a riddle, or a song to sing, Guadalupe's light shined brightly. She was a devoted Catholic and appreciated the beauty of God's green earth. An elegant woman who lived her life honestly and cared deeply. She was greatly respected and will forever be missed by those who knew and loved her.
