James (Jim) Cozzi, 64, of Elmhurst, passed away peacefully, but far too soon, in the early morning of January 15 after a heroic fight against the ravages of COVID 19. Surrounded by his wife and sons and comforted by their selfless love, as well as the love, thoughts and prayers of so many family members and friends who's lives he touched, and who he cared so deeply for, Jim has been released to the peace and glory of Heaven and into the warm embrace of family and friends that went before him. Loving, devoted Husband and best friend of Geri nee Falzone, selfless and caring Father of Jimmy and Vinnie, beloved Son of Rosemary nee Loquercio and Jim Sr., cherished Big Brother of Chris, Patty nee Mucerino and Anthony, Jim is also survived by loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, in-Laws in addition to many Nieces and Nephews. Regretfully, due to gathering restrictions during the current pandemic, the family will hold an invitation only memorial service on Sunday, January 24. However, an event is being planned for the spring to allow those who's lives Jim touched, and who meant so much to him, to come together and celebrate his life and to share wonderful and happy stories of an amazing man who meant so much to and was loved by so many!
