Obituary

James Earl Wilson (PJ) was born on March 27, 1979, at Loyola Hospital in Maywood, IL to Annette Wilson and James Earl Pate.  PJ passed away at the age of 43 on July 2, 2022, after battling a heart condition.

PJ attended Bolingbrook High School in Bolingbrook, IL.  He enjoyed writing music, reading, playing video games, and most importantly pranking/entertaining family and friends. PJ was passionate about working.  He learned various job trades throughout his life.  PJ obtained his fork lifting license worked in medical transportation involving patient care, and most recently enrolled in school to obtain his CDL license.

Some people called him Big Hurt, P Jizzle, Big Hen, or just PJ and all can attest that he was the life of the party.  He will be remembered as being strong willed, independent, and caring. Every time he entered a room his presence was felt, and the room would be filled with laughter.

PJ loved his family dearly and often labeled his children as his biggest accomplishment.  He had two children Jamarion Wilson, and Jamyah Wilson, plus a bonus daughter Shannon Smith. PJ is predeceased in death by Jamyah Wilson (daughter), Jessie Clyde Wilson (grandmother), James Hover Wilson (granddad), Byron McClain and Bryan Editone.

PJ leaves to cherish, Jamarion Wilson (son); Annette Wilson (mother), James Earl Pate (father); Flora Pate (grandmother); 3 sisters Kami Smith, Danielle Pate and Christine Wilson, 1 brother James Fouse; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He also leaves to cherish a special friend of 16 years Vicky Brown and her family.
