Martha Jane Pool Bouterse, known affectionately as Jane, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2023, at the age of 77, in Hinsdale, Illinois, within Dupage County. She was born on May 7, 1946, at Jennie Stuart Memorial Hospital in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, within Christian County, to her loving parents Douglas Pool and Captola Thomas Pool.

Jane was a devoted wife and partner for 47 years to her beloved husband, Donald Bouterse. She is also survived by her cherished daughter, Heather Mauldin.

Throughout her life, Jane left an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. She will always be remembered for her radiant warmth, kindness and timeless beauty. Her sense of style was a reflection of her inner grace and elegance.
