Jeffery "Jeff" Bailey was born on October 12, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois to Lucille and James Bailey Sr. (who preceded him in death). He was the youngest of eight children. Jeff, who was an avid reader, attended Rezin Orr High School, graduating in 1979.  Most recently, Jeff retired from Rush University Medical Center after a successful career of 33 years.  Jeff had a passion for reading the Bible to his cherished wife Vivian and loved competing with her doing crossword puzzles.  He also loved listening to all genres of music-he could name any tune! On December 23, 2022, at the age of 61, Jeff went home to be with the Lord. He is survived by his beloved Mother Lucille Bailey, faithful and loving wife of 28 years,Vivian, loving daughter Ashley Nichole (Michael), son Antonio (Cassandra), granddaughter Serenity Belaire "Poundcake", his buddy Simba, and a host of family and friends. Jeff was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, beloved brother, uncle and friend.  He loved his family and will be missed by all.
