John F. "Jack" Mahoney, age 87. Resident of Bethlehem Woods Village of La Grange Park since 2015, formerly longtime resident of Berwyn. Jack was raised in Chicago. He attended Precious Blood Grammar School and graduated from  Saint Ignatius High School in 1951. After his first year of college, Jack was drafted, serving with the United States Army from 1953-1955 in England. Jack is a retired employee with the Federal Reserve Bank with 30 years of service. He was proud of his Irish heritage. Jack was a very devoted Catholic and prayer was an important part of his daily life. He was a loyal friend and treasured his family. Devoted son of the late Timothy & Mary (nee Conway); fond bother of the late Mary Ellen (Ed) Kiley; uncle & cousin of many.
