Jorge Nelson Tapia Collantes, age 72, of Cicero, IL. Treasured father of Jeaneth Tapia, Henry Nelson Tapia Muriel, Evelyn C. (Pascual Rios-Ambrosio) Tapia-Samaniego, Yadira B. (Ignacio) Campos, Erika J. Tapia, Christian (Wendy S. Lopez) Tapia, Gina (Hans Manosalvas) Monosalvas Tapia, Clever (Maria) Tapia; proud grandfather of many.

Jorge Nelson Tapia Collantes dejó su legado aquí en la tierra como un hombre que luchó hasta el último momento. Su historia comenzó en Ecuador pero por causas del destino emprendió un nuevo comienzo en los Estados Unidos con el anhelo de volver algún día. Fue una decisión difícil que dejaría una huella muy grande en los corazones de sus seres más queridos. Con el pasar de los años fue preparándose hasta abrir su propio negocio, Jorge's Heating and Cooling. Que por más de 25 años ha servido a la comunidad hispana con ética y honestidad. Su trabajo fue fundado en integridad, responsabilidad y profesionalismo. Ideales que formaban parte de su diario vivir. En los últimos años su familia se convirtió en el centro de su vida. Recordó que la familia lo es todo y se dedicó a inculcarle a sus hijos la escénica de la unidad y la fuerza. Para él no existían los
límites, lo que le faltó fue más tiempo. El 5 de mayo del 2021, emprendió una nueva jornada camino a la eternidad. Donde un día nos volveremos a encontrar. Padre, hijo, hermano, amigo te vamos a extrañar. Luchaste como un campeón,y venciste. Ahora disfrutas del amor más puro, la felicidad infinita y la paz eterna.

Jorge Nelson Tapia Collantes left his legacy here on earth as a man who fought until the last moment. His story began in Ecuador. Fate brought him to the United States, but the desire to return one day remained. It was a difficult decision that would leave a very big mark on the hearts of those who loved him. Over the years, he prepared himself to open his own business, Jorge's Heating and Cooling. For more than 25 years he served the Hispanic community with ethics and honesty. His work was founded on integrity, responsibility and professionalism. Ideals that were part of his daily life. In recent years his family became the center of his life. He recalled that family is everything and he dedicated himself to instilling in his children the essence of unity and strength. For him there were no limits, what he lacked was more time. On May 5, 2021, he embarked on a new journey towards eternity. Where one day we will meet again. Father, son, brother, friend we are going to miss you. You fought like a champion, and you won. Now you enjoy the purest love, infinite happiness and eternal peace.

Visitation May 8th, 2021, Saturday 4:00 p.m. until time of chapel service 8:00 p.m. at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads, Hillside/Westchester.

Family & Friends will meet Monday, May 10, 2021 at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 430 North West Avenue, Elmhurst, Illinois for a Memorial Mass at 11:30 a.m.

Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside to follow after mass.
