Jose B. Becerra loving dad and abuelo, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 at the age of 84. After several months of declining health, Jose died peacefully at home.

A jack of all trades, Jose was known for spending time in his garage working on cars or tooling around in the workshop. He loved spending his vacations in Mexico with extended family and friends.

He also loved being an abuelo to his grandchildren, Brody Becerra Murray and Zoë Elaine Murray. His joy, over the last six years, was watching his grandchildren grow up and wonder what they would be like as adults. He will be greatly missed by those who were closest to him.

He leaves to cherish his memories companion of 40yrs Epifania "Lupita" Ramirez; two daughters: Ida Becerra (Mark Hamaj) and Lourdes Becerra (Alexander Murray); three sons: Jose Juan Ayala, Jose Rodolfo Becerra and Jose Antonio Becerra; grandchildren Brody Becerra Murray, and Zoë Elaine Murray.

Visitation Friday August 26, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads, Hillside/ Westchester. Prayers Saturday 9:00 am from the funeral home to St. Leonard Church, Berwyn. Mass 10:00 am.
