Joseph W. Augustyn, of Hillside. Beloved son of the late Henry & Mildred Augustyn (nee Stecki); loving brother of Mary (Raymond) Weiner (nee Augustyn) and Richard (Karen) Augustyn, fond uncle of Henry (Tonya) Garbers, Ashley Klecka (nee Garbers), Nicolette (Graham) Champion  (nee Augustyn), Samantha (Shaun Ott) Augustyn-Ott and a wonderful great uncle to many.

Joseph was a proud retired truck driver of many years who loved working on cars, building things, and playing Pinnacle or Uno with family. In early years he would roller skate, bowl, water ski, fish and hang out with friends and family by the campfire with an Old Style or PBR in his hand.

As years went on you would find him in the garage, mowing lawns or trimming trees and hedges.

One could say he felt like he was one lucky guy and would be remembered as such.

Visitation Monday, June 10th,  5:30 pm to 7:30 pm followed by remembrance all held at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads, Hillside/Westchester.
