Judith Lynn Mack was born on September 27, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, to Jesse Otis, Sr. and Gwendolyn Mack. She grew up in the city of Chicago, where she developed a strong sense of independence and determination that would guide her throughout both her professional and personal life.

Judith attended John Marshall High School, where she completed her education before embarking on a path of military service at a young age. At just 17 years old, she made the courageous decision to enlist in the United States Army, demonstrating both bravery and a deep commitment to serving her country.

During her four years of honorable service, Judith was stationed at Fort Ord, California. She served as a Food Service Specialist, a role that required discipline, care, and dedication to supporting her fellow soldiers. In addition to her primary duties, she distinguished herself by earning recognition as an M16 Rifle Sharpshooter, reflecting her exceptional focus and skill. Her service was further honored with the Army Service Ribbon.

Visitation Saturday, March 28, 2026, 10:00 a.m. until time of service 11:00 a.m. at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads, Hillside/Westchester.
