Judith L. Woods, known as Judy or Juju was born on August 24, 1960 in Elgin, Illinois. She was joined 16 months later by her brother Allan.  Judy was a babysitter for many years taking children into her home caring for them while their mothers worked.  Later she became a caretaker who looked after those in need of help in their own homes.  She always put others first before caring for herself.  Family and friends were the most important thing to Judy, and in later years her passion for genealogy enabled her to locate and connect with additional family members. She also enjoyed count ed cross stitch and knitting taught by her Mother at an early age.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents: Thelma & William Rehling, Aunt and Uncle: Pok & Robert Wm Rehling, Father: Albert Woods and half Brother : John JR King. She is survived by her Partner: Henry Simmons Jr., Mother and Stepfather: Annabel & John King, Brother and Sister-n- law : Allan and Christina Woods, Stepsisters : May Ruth Collier and Shirley Hinkle and several A unts and Uncles : Lois & Clarence Forrester and Elizabeth & Be rnard Overacker , C ousins : Dan & Mary Lou Rehling , Nancy & Tony Fry , Rob Rehling , Rich & Cyndi Forrester , Jim & Heather Nash , Kathy & Butch Harris , N ephew : Neal W oods and D w ight Woods , N iece : Alicia S lingerland , S econd Cous ins and life-long friends.

Visitation Saturday July 2, 2022 11:00 a.m. until time of service 12 Noon at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads, Hillside/ Westchester. Interment Private
