Kaitlyn Koster, 23, gained her wings on November 5th, 2023 in Chicago, IL.

She was born in Illinois on December 5th, 1999 to Curtis and Donna Koster.

Kaitlyn grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago where she attended Wheaton North and East Aurora high school.

She met Stephen Holguin (deceased) near the end of high school and they went on to spend many years together and had one son, Isaiah Koster.

She held many jobs at local gyms and grocery stores, however she was most passionate about her job as her mother's caretaker which she took on at a very early age.

She enjoyed running, listening to music and taking her son on fun adventures. She loved spending time with her family and exploring the city of Chicago. Kaitlyn overcame more obstacles than most will encounter in a lifetime. She was strong. She worked hard. She took care of those around her no matter what. Above all, she always persevered.

Kaitlyn is survived by her son, Isaiah; mother, Donna Koster; grandmother, Marcella (Mickey) Koster; and a ton of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Koster, grandmother, Carol Ranberg, and grandfathers Frank Koster and Hank Ranberg.
