Karen Carpino was raised in the Chicago, Illinois area. She attended Harrington Institute of Interior Design in Chicago and graduated with an Associate Degree. She further attended Roosevelt University in Chicago and graduated with a Bachelor of General Studies Degree in Interior Design. Karen returned to Roosevelt University in Chicago and graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Journalism.

Karen was preceded in death by husband, Sal P. Pullia, and parents John F. Carpino, Eleanor and stepfather Michael Campanelli. She leaves to cherish her memory many cousins and friends.

Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7th, from 10:30 am until time of Mass 11:00 am at Saint Clement Church, 642 W Deming Pl, Chicago, IL 60614.
