Louevetta Williams was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 6, 1960 to Mr. and Mrs. Otho Sr. and Luella Williams.
Louevetta attended Crane High school in Chicago and graduated in 1978. She continued her education at Tarkio College in Tarkio, Missouri where she earned her bachelor's in biology in 1982. She Joined the United States Army September of 1996 and retired July 2007.
During her service she was deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan March of 2004 to March of 2005. For her heroism she received The Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and The Operation Enduring Freedom Medal. She was a proud veteran who received numerous medals and decorations for her service including, Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Award, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal, and Humanitarian Service Medal, to name a few.
Louevetta didn't stop there. She stayed determined and later earned her Master of Curriculum and Instructions in 2014 at Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois.
She worked at Military Family Readiness from 2008 to 2010 and later worked at Farragut Academy High School in 2010 until she retired in 2023.
Louevetta was an unstoppable force. Even when it came to shopping. Louevetta loved to shop, even in war she found a way to shop. She was passionate about decorating and always decorated each holiday with a theme.
On July 17, 2025, Louevetta was called home. She is preceded in death by both parents, and two brothers Archie and Fredrick.
Louevetta leaves to cherish her memories: children Lanisha and Richard (LaShonda); grandchildren, Eiziah, Cameron, and Zoë, sister Arnette and three brothers Otho Jr., Glynn, and Fernon; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friend
