Mable Grier was born on November 30, 1932, to Paul and Lucy Dell Alexander in Greensboro, Georgia.

Mable graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta, Georgia. She was later employed by Amphenol Corporation and First Student School Bus Service.

Mable was married to Eugene Grier from Columbus, Georgia. They had 3 children, Kathy, Richard and Gregory.

On December 12, 2024 Mable passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Lucy Dell Alexander, her brothers Paul, Emmitt, Mack, Willie, Robert, and James Alexander.

Mable Grier leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter Kathy Grier, two sons Richard (the late Carol) and Gregory (Marjorie); eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral Visitation will be held on December 21, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service 12:00 p.m. at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads, Hillside.
