Margaret throughout her life was a very inquisitive, talented, and artistic woman, who had many interests and hobbies some of which included being a master seamstress, and ceramicist. She loved bowling, taking long road trips, learning world history, and had an amazing green thumb for gardening and growing unique indoor and outdoor plants. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, and had an insatiable appetite for world cuisines, a lens she used as a medium to explore people's foods and cultures.

Margaret was a great steward of her life and loved caring for others. She was very kind and had a generous heart, a quality which she personified and exemplified in her daily walk. Her acts of service through care, led her to having a career in the healthcare industry for over fifteen years as a nurse. In life she was stern, a little stubborn, yet very loving, wise, and intelligent. Funny yet witty, and had a knack for "creative vulgarity", but above all else, she was a Fighter with a burning desire to live and love her family.

She departed this life to be with God, family, and her ancestors on February 22, 2024 at the age of 77. She leaves to celebrate her memory and legacy 3 grandchildren K-Cee Carlton Avant, David "Davie" Prude, and Melina Margaret Prude and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
