Marianne "Meme" Ondris, a cherished sister, aunt & great aunt, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on May 30, 1957 in Elmhurst, IL. and lived her entire life in Hillside, IL. She was the beloved daughter of the late Charles and Flemmie (Villano) Ondris. She is survived by her sister's, Donna (the late Jack) Hayes, Lori (Bob) Liss. Loving aunt to Dana (James) Patton, Steve (Samantha) Larkin, Jimmy Larkin, Mike (Sarah) Liss, Anthony Liss. Great aunt to Emersyn Larkin, Grayson, Harper, Kailey & Jonathan Liss. All of whom will deeply miss her presence in their lives.

Marianne dedicated over 25 years of her career to Olmarc Packaging Company, in accounting and payroll. At 50 years old, Marianne was told she only had 1 week to live, due to having leukemia. She fought through the years with long hospital stays, lung cancer, bone marrow transplant (which Donna was her match), heart surgery and more, but survived for 17 years. During that time she worked 10 years for Osco in Elmhurst, IL.

Marianne will be remembered for her caring and giving ways, her love for family and friends, and her adventurous spirit. She always tried to live life to the fullest. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial Visitation Friday, September 27, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads, Hillside/Westchester. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
