Marilyn Shalloo, Retired Colonel with the United States Air Force with over 30 years of service, retiring in 1994. Marilyn graduated Siena High School in the early 1950s. She attended St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Evanston, Illinois. She graduated in 1955 and joined the nursing staff of Illinois Research Hospital for two years. She became the supervisor of the recovery ward at St. Anne Hospital. She was also a member of their fire safety committee and chairman of the Crusade of Mercy, she was their most successful chairman. She was awarded Employee of the year in 1966. Besides balancing the Air Force and work, Marilyn was very involved with committees in her neighborhood. In later years, Marilyn devoted time to St Luke's tutoring students.

Loving daughter of the late Denny & Delia (nee King); fond sister of the late Tom & Joe Shalloo; cherished cousins of Kathleen (Paul) King-Nielsen, Therese (Peter) Angarone and Olivia & Ophelia Angarone.

Visitation Saturday, April 8, 2023; 10:00 a.m. until time of service 11:00 a.m. at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads, Hillside/Westchester. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
