Michael Angel Cardenas, 36, of Lockport, passed away May 18, 2021; loving father of Liliana Helena Cardenas; devoted son of Jose Angel Cardenas and Carla Jean Poplawski; fond brother of Christie (Ignacio) Favela and Veronica (Daniel) Alberti; uncle of Jesus Tarcisio Sanchez, Taylor Genesis Favela, Aidan Isaac Finkle and Lilah Rose Finkle; great uncle of Noah Leo Sanchez and Finn Eli Capone. Michael is also survived by many relatives and countless friends.

Michael was born on April 19, 1985, the son of Jose Angel Cardenas and Carla Jean Poplawski. He worked in the family construction business since his 20's. Michael enjoyed music, sports and traveling to Mexico to see his family. But above all he enjoyed his family most and especially loved his daughter Lily.
