It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Padma, a devoted mother and an accomplished physician. She will be missed by her family, friends and the community she served, Padma was known for her unwavering dedication to both her family and her medical profession. She exemplified compassion and empathy with a tireless work ethic throughout her life.
Padma completed her medical education at Andhra university, finished her Obstetrics & Gynecology training and went on to specialize in anesthesiology after completing her residency at the University of Chicago. Her commitment to providing exceptional care to her patients was unparalleled.
She touched the lives of countless individuals , offering not only medical expertise, but also a comforting presence during their most vulnerable moments. As remarkable as her professional achievements were, Padma was equally devoted to her role as wife and mother. She leaves behind two children Raja and Geeta, who were the joy and pride of her life. She instilled in them the importance of kindness, perseverance, and the pursuit of one's dreams. Outside of her professional family and maternal responsibility, she had a deep love for gardening. She found solace in growing flowers and loved the fragrance they produced. She was also a founding member of Sri Venkateswara Swami (Balaji) Temple.
Her passion for life was infectious, and she shared it with those around her. She created lasting memories and fostered connections between people. She is survived by her loving husband, Kandala Rao, Son and daugher-in-law, Raja and Rupa, daugher- Geeta, grandson- Averal, and her cherished siblings Madhu and Krishnaprasad. She leaves behind a host of relatives, friends, and colleagues, who will remember her as a compassionate and dedicated individual.
Padma will be forever remembered for her selflessness, kindness and unwavering dedication to her family and patients. Her legacy will continue to inspire and touch the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
