Pastor Jones departed from this life on earth and went on to be with the Lord on the morning of May 30, 2023. In addition to her extensive list of accomplishments as a Pastor, she was a daughter, a wife, a sister, a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, an aunt, a cousin, a mentor, and a friend. She poured into the youth and did all she could to lead and assist them in the goals they set. Pastor Jones frequently checked in on the students in her life who went to college, stayed up until the early morning hours to pray as they studied, and wholeheartedly supported those furthering their education. She was so proud of all "her children" who became successful adults in various professions, as she was an advocate for growth in all areas of one's life.

Pastor Deliah Jones was predeceased by; her former husband, Pastor Johnny Jones; parents, Robert Sr., and Cleo Byrd; brother, Robert "Bobby" Byrd; son, Daryl Parker; very close niece and nephew, August Easter and Denard Easter.

Pastor Deliah Jones leaves to cherish her loving memory; daughter-in-law, Mildred Parker ; grandson, Timmothy (Andrea) Harris; granddaughter, Trisha Parker; great-grandchildren, Zebriel Wellington, Zaria Parker, Zamir Parker, and Zion Parker; sisters, Dorothy Easter, Mildred Davis, and Stephanie Byrd; brother, Warren Byrd; aunt, Leola Stokes; "The Golden Girls", Elayne Parker-Hill, Penny Hill, Tregena Harris, and Betty Sneed; special cousin, Brenda Shelby; loyal friend, Elder Terez King; her church family; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
