Obituary

Patricia A. Hogan (Murtha), Age 81, beloved wife of Edward Hogan passed away peacefully on April 5, 2022 at Greenwood House in Ewing, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ, the daughter of the late Johnathan and Catherine (Alexander) Murtha, she was a graduate of Our Lady of the Valley High School. Pat loved life and always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say about everyone. Her family was always her priority. She remained joyful and smiling till Jesus called her home. She would want everyone to know that she was saved and is now blessed to spend eternity with Jesus Christ. "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 In addition to her husband, Pat is survived by her daughter Kimberly and husband, Karl Moore of New Hope, PA and her son, William Hogan of Hamilton, NJ. Her grandchildren, Audra and Logan Moore. She is also survived by her Stepchildren, Ann and Rich Sleboda, Sheila Toborg, Doug and Soudavei Hogan, Colleen Hogan, Tony Hogan and Dawn Penn, and David Hogan and an additional 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. She was predeceased by her siblings, John Murtha, Marilyn McAdam (Murtha) and Buddy Murtha and her stepson, Matthew Hogan. Her family extends their heartfelt thanks to Greenwood House in Ewing. Specifically, to all her aides, nurses, and all the staff for the incredible love, care, and compassion given to Pat for the past 9 years.
