Peters of Chicago, beloved husband of Dora Navarro Peters; loving father of Marie Navarro Peters and Rose Navarro Peters; devoted son of Barbara Ann Hauffe and the late Richard Albert Peters; fond brother of Linda Cybul and Marianne Peters; survived by many cousins, nephews and a niece, and a great niece and great nephew; mourned and greatly missed by his in-laws.
Paul was a co-owner of Westgate Flowers in Oak Park for over 34 years with his good friend, Adam Szetela. He was well-known for his artistry in floral design and arrangements, and took great pride in a job well-done. He was an outgoing person with a ready smile and optimistic outlook who made everyone feel he was their great friend.
Paul was born in Chicago at Augustana Hospital on October 26, 1966. He grew up and lived in Chicago his entire life, attending Hawthorne and St. Ladislaus elementary schools, and graduated from St Patrick's High School in 1984. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout on December 11, 1980.
As a boy he served as an altar boy at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church. Later in life he became an active member of Edgebrook Lutheran Church.

He valued family, loved meeting and relating to people, and enjoyed travel.
Paul passed away on February 27, 2023, surrounded by family, ending a brave battle with cancer.
