Quincy Mae Booker was born to the late Mack and Flora Day on March 2, 1951.  Quincy's parents, husband Ronald Sr., brothers Maurice and Stephen, and sister Cathy, also preceded her in death.

Quincy was baptized at a young age and began her education at Our Lady of Lourdes in Chicago, Illinois.  This is where she formed once of her longest friendship of 65 years with Wanda Humphrey. The two were affectionately called the "giggle girls". At a very early age, Quincy loved to laugh and this was the trait she displayed through her entire life. Most who knew her remember the laughter.

Quincy graduated in 1965 and went on to attend high school and college. She attended Harold Washington College, formally known as Loop College in Chicago, Illinois.

Q uincy Fell in love and married Ronald Booker Sr. on July 25, 1970. This union was blessed with three children Sharice, Denise and Ronald Jr. Quincy was a dedicated worker at the U.S. Post Office and retied after 30 years of loyal service. During this time, she created many lasting friendships.

Quincy had a love for family shopping, travel, comedy shows, blues shows, good food, great friendships and most of all laughter.

Quincy was born into eternity on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. She leaves behind to cherish her memories daughters, Sharice Jackson (Anthony), Denise Wornor (Roland); son, Ronald Jr.; grandchildren, Dondre, Jaylen, Camiryn, Anthony Jr., Aria and Raelynn; sister-in-law, Sharon Day (Stephen) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
