Rhonda Ruth Lindsay was born on April 15, 1966, to Hattie Mae Tillman and Rodell Jones, embracing her roles as daughter, sister, wife, and mother. The youngest of five sisters, she cherished her family and built strong bonds throughout her life.

Rhonda found her faith at the First Baptist Church of Melrose Park under Pastor Harry McNelty. She graduated from Proviso West High School and continued her education at Triton College. In early adulthood, she met her soulmate, Kevin Lindsay Sr., and together they enjoyed 31 years of marriage, navigating life's challenges and celebrating milestones. Rhonda devoted herself to raising her children, Kevin Jr. and Rhavin Zaria, with love and dedication.

With a distinguished 36-year career at the United States Postal Service, Rhonda excelled in various roles, including network specialist, while also serving as a union steward. There she fostered a host of lifelong friendships that supported her strong work ethic. In favor of her entrepreneurial passion, she maintained her licensure as a realtor and broker, proudly helping friends and family find their dream homes.

A diverse and dynamic character, Rhonda loved to travel and find joy in simple pleasures like shopping, gardening, and spending time with her lapdog, Timber. Her warmth and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Rhonda's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her, reminding us all to embrace life with joy and gratitude.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 12:00pm until time of service 1:00pm at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory. 4001 West Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois.
