Rita A. Benn departed this life peacefully on June 26, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her loving parents, James, and Rachel Lashley; brothers, Rupert, Stanley, James, Maurice, Neville, and David; and sisters Sybil and Doreen.

She leaves to cherish her memory, brother, Dennis Robinson, daughter Bonita Benn, special nieces Patricia Bristol and Lorna Young, special nephews, Lance Lashley, Eon Phillips, Cardon Phillips and Marvin Phillips, a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews, the Brown Family, Sorors and friends.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday August 5, 2023 from 10:00 am until time of service 11:00 am at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads, Hillside.
