Rita L Walsh Inman born January 21st, 1951 in Chicago IL, Passed away surrounded by family on August 26th, 2022 in Winston Salem, NC where she resided with her mother Betty until her passing in February of 2022, her husband, a daughter, and a few grandchildren. A former resident of Braidwood, IL. Rita was a Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Survived by husband David R. Inman, children Amanda Inman, Brent Inman spouse Katherine Surman Inman, Nichole Inman Cortes spouse Juan Cortes. Grandchildren Elyse Lindsay, Jacob Lindsay, Lukas Lindsay, Gabriella Inman, Aidan Inman, Castiel Cortes, and a grandchild on the way. Rita was preceded in death by her parents Betty V. Walsh and Richard F. Walsh, siblings Richard Walsh and Loretta Walsh Rice, and many other family and friends.

Rita was family orientated and always put her family's needs above all else. She had a big heart that cared for all animals including her two dogs Roscoe and Libby. Rita enjoyed reading fictional books like Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings, watching cartoons, cooking, music, dancing, art, hot rods and race cars. She loved decorating for the holidays and preparing large feast. Rita was the best gift giver, she always got not only what people needed but wanted. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation and service will be held to celebrate Rita's life at Hursen Funeral Home, 4001 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162. Visitation is from 9:00 am until time of service 11:00 am, and the Burial will follow at the conclusion of the service at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Info: 800-562-0082
