Robin Swarn was born July 24, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of Roosevelt and Amanda Swarn. She was born the 6th child of eight children which consisted of six sisters, Millie, Renee, Rita, Rosita, Rozaria, Redelia, and one brother Roosevelt Jr.
Robin loved God, and spoke to God in her own way. She loved to go to school and attended many schools. Family and Friends Adult Day Center was her favorite school where she loved Kathy (Director and Owner), and her staff.
Robin was referred to as Tricky. She was considered the sweetest and friendliest person you could know. She always spoke to everybody whether she knew them or not. She would tell you she love you, and have a great day. She didn't like for you to argue. She remembered every Holiday, and would always say happy birthday to you. Robin loved books. Books always captured her attention. She loved music from R&B to Gospel. She remember songs way back in the day.
Robin loved to eat. McDonalds was her favor place to eat. Every day if you ask her what she would like to eat, she would say McDonald. She always reminded you to get her ice tea. Robin also loved money. TJ and John G. were the two men in her life that she always hit them up for $1.00 and later increased it to $2.00. She was so fond of TJ. Every time she saw him, it made her day. Robin always said a prayer before she ate. She would say "God is good, amen. She would keep repeating God is good amen until you say amen with her. She recognized God, and how good he was to her.
Robin was preceded in death by her Father Roosevelt Swarn, Mother, Amanda Swarn her Grand Parents Robert Young and Hattie White, Aunts Lillie Mae Strong and Millie Conway, Uncle William Young, Sister Millie May Young, Brother Roosevelt Swarn Jr,(Fiancé, Movella Mosley) Nephew JC Oliver Jr, Niece Marquita Young, and Cousin James L. Strong.
Robin leaves to mourn her siblings Renee Tripp (Lafayette Tripp), Rita Oliver,(JC Oliver Sr.) Rosita Swarn-Greaves (John Greaves), Rozaria Swarn-Gibbs,(John Gibbs), , Redelia Swarn, Cousin T.J Strong (Dolly Strong), Dorothy Cobb-Miller and Bobbie A Shelton, (18) nieces and nephew, and a hosts of cousins and friends.
