Roderick (Polo) Moss was born to Yvonne Pitchford and Robert Moss on Feb 8, 1976, who preceded him in death along with siblings, Jyl Moss, Aubrey Moss, and Robert Moss Jr.

Roderick Moss grew up in Maywood, IL where he showed interest in drawing, sports and music. Roderick attended Emerson & James Memorial Christian Academy and Walter Lutheran High School, where he would foster life-long friendships.

Roderick was a very outgoing person, he enjoyed going out and hanging out with friends and family. Roderick was always the life of the party. Showing off his dance skills, and showing off his sense of fashion. Not only was he fun to be around, he also had a heart of gold wanting to help in any way he could.  He always made sure everyone around him felt comfortable and were enjoying themselves as he surely was.

Roderick leaves behind to cherish his memory a son Justin Moss; Sister Desdemona Moss, Brother Standford Moss Sr. and a Host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will dearly miss him.
