Roger "Pete" Carter was born in Chicago, March 19 ^th 1961, to Thomas and Maggie. He was the 9 ^th of 10 children. He went to Delamore Elementary School and Cooley High School. Along with various jobs, Pete enjoyed music and being a DJ, he also loved doing the "James Brown" dance routines.

Pete was baptized and gave himself to the Lord January 1999.  Pete was with Alice and her 2 children for some time.  He enjoyed eating cookies, ice cream and reading. He also loved animals and walking dogs. Pete also felt the need in helping senior citizens and was a caretaker to Pam and Joe for several years.

Pete's mother, father, his sister Maryann and brother's Freddie, Alex, Tony and Rob precede him in death.  He leaves behind his sister Rosemary, brothers John, Mike and Percy, and a host of relative and friends.
