On Sunday, August 29, 2021, Rosemarie Paula LaRocchia, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away at the age of 74.

Rosemarie was born on February 9 ^th , 1947, in Chicago, Illinois to Arthur and Edith Dallolio.

On October 4 ^th , 1969, she married Vito I. LaRocchia whom she remained in wedlock for 51 years. Together they raised their daughter and son, Carmela and Michael.

Rosemarie's one passion in life was her family.  She adored her husband, children and two grandsons, Joseph and Anthony. She perpetually placed the wellbeing and happiness of her family and friends above her own without a second thought.  Rosemarie loved Saturday morning breakfast with her husband, son and daughter-in-law Krista where she discussed her love and pride of her growing grandsons.  Rosemarie enjoyed reading and often spent time on her backyard on sunny days with her husband.  Rosemarie loved to cook and throughout her lifetime she mastered numerous Italian dishes which she enjoyed preparing to the delight of her family and friends.

Although Rosemarie was an only child, her cousins and close friends were like sisters and brothers to her, and she held her relationships with them in the highest possible regards, in her heart.

Rosemarie was loved by all who knew her and are devastated by her passing.  She will be sorely missed and remembered with great love in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

Rosemarie was preceded in death by her father, Arthur and her mother, Edith.  She is survived by her husband, Vito, her two children, Carmela and Michael, her daughter-in-law, Krista, her two grandsons, Joseph and Anthony, and several family members both in Illinois, California and Italy.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Saint Eulalia Parish church at 11:30 am, 1845 S. 9 ^th Avenue, Maywood, IL 60153.  Prior to that a viewing will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Hursen Funeral Home from 9:30 am – 11:00 am, 4001 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162.

In remembrance of Rosemarie LaRocchia's life, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, a charitable donation be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation For Parkinson's Research.
