Roy Livingston Hardy Jr., age 79, passed away on March 4 th , 2021 at Humboldt Park Health, Chicago, Illinois. He was born on January 2 nd , 1942 to Roy Livingston Hardy Sr. and Margaret (nee Anderson) Hardy of Chicago, Illinois.

Roy proudly served in the US Army from 1959 to 1980. During his time of service, he was a Combat Medic, Operating Room Specialist, ENT Specialist, and retiring as a Staff Sergeant. Roy had a carefree and spontaneous nature. His favorite saying was, "Que Sera Sera". He was a shopper, there wasn't anything on the shopping network that he didn't like. Roy had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. His Donald Duck impressions were always a hit.

Roy's favorite past time was cruising around Chicago to his favorite eateries. Polish sausage or porkchop sandwiches were a must. He and Jen frequently visited Roy's boyhood haunts, cruised Lake Shore Drive, and visited Navy Pier for a Ferris wheel ride.

Roy was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

Roy is survived by his wife, Jennifer Schellin; his children, PJ Hardy (Mary), and Gina Davies (Alvin); mother-in-law, Jolene Tramburg; father-in-law, Edwin Schellin; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.
