Ruben Valencia was born March 22nd, 1933, to the late Manuel  and Luz Valencia in Guadalajara, Mexico. Ruben was united in marriage on April 29th, 1960, to Lily Davis. Through this union, 6 children were born Carmen, Aurora, Ruben, Victoria, Vincent, and the late Raul.

Ruben became a United States Citizen in  1951. Ruben met Lily Davis in 1957 and they resided in Chicago together, where they raised their family. He was a devoted father to his children and a dedicated husband to Lily, who preceded him in death, on February 13th, 1990.

Ruben departed our graces on May 27th, 2021. Ruben leaves to cherish his loving memories: his children Carmen (David), Aurora (Bobby), Ruben (Ada), Victoria, Vincent (Tabitha), and Raul; grandchildren Andrew, Jamell (Crystal), Victoria, Alex, Jordan, Lily, Ashley, Jaden; one great grandchild, Skylar; and a host of relatives and friends.
