Salvatore Miglio Sr. passed away on May 29, 2026, at the age of 79. Born in Chicago and raised in Hillside, Illinois, he was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Miglio Sr. and Carmenella “Minnie” Miglio (née Serritella), and his brothers, Eugene Jr. (Rose) and Nunzio.

He is survived by his sons, Michael and Salvatore Jr.; his grandchildren, Andrea Mancini, Cecilia, and Michael; his nephews, Gino, Marc, and Nicolas; and his great-niece and nephew, Giada and Carmen; as well as many cousins.

Salvatore’s life was also shared with his beloved partner of over 30 years, Charlene Fagiano. He is survived by her children, Angel (George) Chiarelli, Anthony, and Frank (Toni); her grandchildren, George Chiarelli, Gabriela (Michael) Raymond, Anthony, and Joseph; and her great-grandchildren, Paul, Carlo, and Isla.

Visitation Monday, June 8, 2026,  3-9 PM with prayer service at 8:00 PM at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads, Hillside/Westchester. 

Friends and family to meet at the funeral home Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 10 AM to follow in procession to Queen of Heaven Cemetery, entombment 11 AM Christ the King Mausoleum
