Sal was a devoted family man and a beloved husband of the late Josephine A. Pusateri nee Romano; loving father of Anne Marie (Thomas) Culotta & Tina Marie (Eric A.) Schmidt; dear grandfather of Deena (Bryen) Kapocius, Aidan C. Schmidt & Owen W. Schmidt; fond brother of the late Michael, Leo, Lena and Josephine; cherished uncle to many.

Sal worked as butcher for forty plus years at Allen Brothers in Chicago until he retired from the Meat Cutters Local # 546

He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him, but his legacy will live on through his family and friends.

Memorial Visitation, Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads, Hillside.
