In Loving Memory of Siphora Samuel Gulla

February 14, 1964 – September 26, 2026

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Siphora Samuel Gulla, who passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026, at the age of 62.

Siphora was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and a beautiful soul whose greatest joy was her family. She was caring, generous, and giving, always making sure the people around her felt loved and cared for. She never came to a family gathering empty-handed, because giving to others was simply part of who she was.

Siphora was a strong, bold, and independent woman. She was never afraid to speak her mind when necessary and always remained true to herself. Her strength, courage, and loving spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Above all, her faith in God was at the center of her life. She trusted Him wholeheartedly and always believed in leaving things in God's hands. Her faith gave her strength and guided her through every season of her life.

One of her greatest joys was being an Ammamma to her beloved grandson, Roman Olivarez. She loved Roman deeply and cherished the special bond they shared. Her love for him and her children Gladys and Jonathan was unconditional, and the memories they created together (always captured on camera) will remain a treasured part of their lives.

Siphora leaves behind her beloved husband, Daniel Gulla; a daughter, Gladys Gulla-Olivarez, a son Jonathan Gulla; grandson, Roman Olivarez and Son-in-law Freddy Olivarez. She also leaves behind a beloved siblings Benhur Samuel (India) and Sabreena Samuel (India). She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Gladys Siddappa.

She also leaves behind huge extended family, and friends, whom she loved and whose lives were touched by her kindness, generosity, strength, and faith.

Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we are grateful for the love, memories, and lessons she gave us. Her presence may no longer be with us, but her love will remain in our hearts and in the lives of everyone she touched.

We find comfort knowing that Siphora placed her life and her faith in God's hands. We trust that she is now resting peacefully in His presence.

Rest peacefully, Mom. You are deeply loved. You will be greatly missed. And you will always be close to out hearts. We will cherish your memory.

Visitation Thursday, October 1, 2026, 10:00 a.m. until time of service 12:00 p.m. Noon at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, 4001 Roosevelt Road (SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads). Interment Glen Oak/Oakridge Cemetery.
