Schumpp, Stephen passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 75 on September 27, 2024.  He is survived by his loving wife, Tracy, married for 36 years, brother Jim Schumpp, and brother-in-law Ronald Hoffie (Karla), and brother-in-law William Hoffie (Doris).  Stephen was a cherished uncle.

In addition to his unwavering love for his family, Stephen had many hobbies. His favorite was collecting music throughout the eras and sharing that collection with friends and family. Stephen worked in the computer industry much of his working career before retiring.

Stephen is preceded in death by his mother Luella (Kearns), brothers Edwin Schumpp (Dotty) and John Schumpp (Jackie) and sister Judy Schumpp. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the many doctors, nurses, techicians at Rush Hospital who provided care throughout the years following treatment for tonsil cancer.
